About Ronan

Hi, I'm a 21 year old college student starting my adventure in film and editing, my name is Ronan. I have spent a lot of my early years playing sports, enjoying the outdoors, and enjoying movies with my dad. Watching movies with my father was one of the main ways we spent time and connected, besides also watching sports. It became a huge interest in my life because of this I have been heavily invested in not only the entertainment industry, but deeply in love with the idea of entertaining others in the same way I was years ago. So I am brought to this new chapter in my life where I have begun the pursuit of accomplishing this dream and creating my very own films. Overall I have not had a wealth of experience in the entertainment industry, but I have had some rich experiences in small sections of it. My time working with 511 media was a small yet wonderful look into how podcasts are produced. Along with this I also had an opportunity to work with the BC sports administration to promote their teams, and interview their coaches. Other than that most of my work experience has been in customer service, and food service. Though these jobs might not seem related to film or entertainment I have found that there is plenty of crossover in giving people the right coffee and attitude, and giving people a wonderful film they can sit down and enjoy with friends and family alike. Growing up in Bakersfield has been a challenge for me in pursuing this dream of mine, I strive to not only overcome this but become better from it. In the end as long as I get the chance to entertain people through my work, I will be fulfilled and happy. Everyday is another step closer to this dream and I hope to find a wonderful future in this industry, and have an excuse to celebrate not only the present, but the past and future as well.
